When I looked through the window,
I saw you.
I saw you, wrecked.
I gazed through your cracks.
I saw you, damaged.
The sublime rays falling on your body,
made your dwindling evident.
And then in retrospect,
I saw myself.
Yes, you reflected me;
my soul.
Yet, we both;
Here, standing tall;
Sturdy.
The melancholy of our tribulation,
Always attested to the attention of onlookers.
