Hey Sunshine,
When I stand facing you,
What follows, is a shadow.
Something that mimics me,
Something that mocks,
Something that echoes my inner darkened blocks.
A dark shadow,
A dark reflection of my very own,
Yet seamless,
Clung to me.
What it doesn’t reflect is my shattered soul,
My wrecked heart,
And the fractured mind.
If you look carefully to realize,
It’s only you who created the shadow.
And here, the world just sees and admires,
My Silhouette.
